Brighton Food Depot Shares


St. Mark’s and St. John’s delivery

Over this past month 120 bags of food were donated to St. Mark’s and St. John’s Food Pantry to help the people in the Beechwood area of the city. Since the beginning of the Pandemic (March 25) SM&SJ have made 338 emergency food deliveries and served 174 families. Our donations helped with that effort. The hope through additional donations, they will be able to continue to help those in need.

Center for Youth request

“The Nook” at the Center for Youth is being utilized by many teens, now more than ever! Items which can be donated to help fill the needs are:

Jelly
Cereal
Instant Noodles
Oatmeal Packets
Canned mixed fruit
Canned baked beans
Individual Instant Mashed Potato packages
Cheese and cracker snack packs
Peanut butter and cracker snack packs
Feminine Hygiene (tampons specifically)
Shampoo and Conditioner
Soap (bars and body wash)
Deodorant
Toothpaste

Items may be dropped directly of at the Center for Youth at 905 Monroe Avenue (back door by the garage) – Monday through Friday, 9AM to 9PM. Or items may be donated to the Brighton Food Depot using the brown bin next to the Depot door located next to the playground at the church for later delivery. An initial delivery of a 60 items were taken the first week of May.
