Call To Worship

Acts 4:32-35 with responses

One:       Now the whole group of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, but everything they owned was               held in common.
Many:   May our community be the presence of the risen Christ.
One:        With great power the apostles gave their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.
Many:   May our witness be the presence of the risen Christ.
One:        There was not a needy person among them, for as many as owned lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold.
Many:   May our equality be the presence of the risen Christ.
One:        They laid it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need.
Many:   May the risen Christ be evident in our lives, in our church, and in our world.

*Morning Prayer

*Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
