One:   As the day begins to close, we enter into twilight, then darkness.
All:     Each day as morning comes, we seek the light that brings us hope.
One:   Each day brings new opportunities for being God’s people in new ways.
All:     And each day we claim God’s love through Jesus Christ so that we can be
           God’s people.
One:   We light this second candle of Advent seeking the light of Jesus that will guide us into tomorrow and tomorrow.
All:     We light this candle for the days ahead when we need to see the light of
