November 12, 2023

For Cameron Community Ministries  | Thank you congregation!

Update: Sarah, our Mission Chairperson and the entire team, thank you for all the donations of grocer’s $25 gift cards totally $500 and the numerous bags of food that is being delivered to Cameron Community Ministries just in time to pass out for Thanksgiving!  Well done First-Rochester

Previously posted in preparation of the food drive.:
Food insecurity is even more prevelant now than ever in our community.  Cameron Community Ministries has great need for Thanksgiving meal items to help combat the issue for their neighbors. Please consider donating canned and dry goods bringing them to the church where they will be delivered for you to CCM to share with their neighbors in need. Shelf stable goods only please.

They will also accept $25 gift cards to purchase fresh meats, produce, dairy, and breads from Tops, Aldis, and Wegmans,

Please consider sharing your blessings this Thanksgiving and give generously to this food drive.  You may also give finanically and someone will shop for you.  Drop off or send your check to First Baptist Church with CCM-Food in the memo line or you may choose to give online at rochesterfbc.org/give/.
